Drawings and More

The act of drawing feels much like an anti-photography. There is no time behind a computer or a camera- the immediateness of it is both frightening and beautiful. In most of these drawings I am observing the beauty that lies unintended within a functional object; the beauty of a freeway intersection or a route taken. By looking at objects or moments from this bird's eye perspective I find a new vantage point from which to appreciate the mundane.
